This moment sums up one of the elements I love about my interactive keynotes.
You never quite know what’s going to unfold and responding in the moment while bringing key messages into the mix makes every talk unique – its never exactly the same and it’s so good having the room engage with the content.
In case you are wondering this is the moment where my participant dropped a couple of balls…they rolled across the room and other balls were still piling up. Out of nowhere the green ball is launched across the room, smashing the top balls into the air, rather than being engulfed by them they were cleared. The room erupted with laughter, was full of energy and engagement with one person looking quite sheepish at what had just happened – there was no guessing where the green ball came from.
A total surprise to everyone including me.
This is metaphor in action. What do you think the key messages were in this interaction? How would you have responded?
Thank you Gainsborough Photography for capturing the moment at the SCA SA/NT conference – it does make ne smile when I look at it.
