One story really sticks out to me.
and comments such as
”this is stuff we already know’
‘what if I make a mistake and my staff see me differently’
‘I have to do it all’
‘I lie awake at 3am worrying what’s happening’
highlight how a burnout to balance workshop is an important part of leading a business – even when you are an experienced business owner.
One person spoke about how they have had a business for a long time, it’s going really well, they are expanding and have some great partners on board.
But in the early hours of the morning they wake up and can’t stop thinking about everything.
Their mind is thinking if all the things… strategy, people, the future, finance.
Yet they don’t need to do that any more.
They are in a different phase, have things set up so that they don’t have to be across it all.
Their mind is going back to when they first started out.
During the workshop they realised it’s okay, time to celebrate what they have set up and the legacy they have created.
They don’t need to be worrying about the future so much as the past effort, connection, business know how has set them up.
And their partners are really happy with their contribution and where everything is at.
So even someone who has been in the game for a long time, found a way to move forward, lighten the load, enjoy their fruits and celebrate the future.
