Is this what it feels like for you right now?
I have noticed that the end of year gloriousness of finalising one year and planning for the next can feel a bit extra – plus the everyday humaning that keeps us on our toes.
Not to mention…
the concerts, graduations and end of year functions
the build up of family dynamics around Xmas
the pressure of what have i achieved or what am i doing with my life
and then questioning
What are our goals for 2025
How are we going as a team
Have we met the KPI’s etc etc
The energy it takes to think all the time and get all the things done can be costly of your energy – so here is your reminder that you can put some of the balls down and you don’t have to go to everything if you are not up for it.
You can do things differently so it doesn’t feel so taxing on your cognition – imagine using pipecleaners, popsticks and corks and having fun to set the goals for next year or to reflect on 2024 (happy to help with that)
A good question to ask is whether there is a series of urgent imaginary deadlines just because the year is coming to an end. What may seem urgent may be able to wait – plus 2025 can start in February!
I still have a few spots left for corporate workshops in November and December. Creative enquiry is a fun, interactive way to pull your team together at the end of the working year, add a bit of energy to your standard Christmas function, and get people excited about coming back to work and doing great things in 2025 .
Lets chat about how we can add some energy, connection and excitement to end the year with your wellbeing still in tact.
