This lantern represents so much from interactive keynote that I facilitated in Sydney on Tuesday with the Uniting team.
To me it is the hope, connection, and guiding light of an organisation that has social justice and compassion as part of its dna.
This light was also captured in the sounds of a team gathering from all over NSW and ACT, I could feel the importance of the connection that was way more than coming together for staff meeting.
It was powerful hearing the reflection on the Xmas Story and how that can be meaningful for each of us no matter what you believe
The laughter, adaptability, sharing and dreaming in the warm up activity set the scene
The honesty and sharing of leaders navigating challenges and what is needed for their wellbeing
Clear communication that acknowledges change but also and the way forward.
and all of these things weren’t part of my session.
Thank you to the Uniting team for all that you do for the community and your team, the creative reflection was embraced fully and was so uplifted by the gratitude, sharing, and connection in the room.
