There are many moments that give me tingles in workshops and this one was a highlight.
At the end of the two workshops – participants in HR offering genuine support to a small business to help them develop their team including sharing processes and documentation. This is community, connection and support that is so important when you are running a business.
It’s amazing when a group of people come together and the workshops in Mt Gambier highlighted the importance of having space to reflect, connect and take time to look at blocks fears and solutions.
When we partnered with the Office for Small and Family Business my vision was about the conversations around the table and shared knowledge being an important part of the mastermind style workshops. And this is exactly what happened whether it was a large family business or sole trader the sharing of experiences is what makes this unique.
Some highlights included
– Acknowledging some of the challenges in this economic climate and the need to look after my self too
– recognising the importance of connecting to staff on an informal level
– working more as a team rather than siloed operations
– the fact that small and family business were already doing great things to support their staff
Yes this program is about mental health and wellbeing and it’s so much more about connection – a vital part of wellbeing.
We are looking forward to starting our mastermind series with City of Marion this Friday, there is still time to join us – if you are a small or family business come and connect https://lnkd.in/g9xwRfcW
