Being curiously curious

Sep 9, 2024 | Blog

It was fabulous to reiterate the power of play (and creativity) at Erin Faehrmann‘s play date for the fearlessly curious last week.

I loved the wisdom from Dr. Kate Raynes-Goldie around what happens in the moment when people interact through play. Absolute synergy with creative inquiry and it is exciting to see that engagement, exploration, insights, connection and what is happening in the moment can have such an impact.

It is transformative in our leadership

Helps create psychological safety

Is a space for mutually assured vulnerability

A way to have feelings come out and express

It breaks down barriers, connects and opens communication

It provides experimentation and inner thinking

We can’t not be curious in play

It is important as humans

Helps make sense of things

You can think with your hands

You are able to do something that you wouldn’t normally do

Thanks for an incredible night of exploring, connecting with some of my favourite people and for acknowledging that different is good.
